This Case Study of a project completed by David Owens shows How to
increase a homes value by resurfacing a garage floor.
The home in Bridge Creek Oklahoma was new construction built by a local developer. The day the concrete was poured was very dry with winds approaching 40 mph. The moisture in the fresh concrete was evaporating rapidly which caused the concrete to develop spider web looking cracks. This created a
cosmetic problem but not structural.
All the concrete inside the home was covered with tile and carpet which was not an issue. The hairline cracks in the garage scared off all potential buyers. David Owens a One Day Floors Polyaspartic specialist who owns Concrete Art of Oklahoma showed the developer the potential to increase the homes value with a resurfaced garage floor.
Concrete Art of Oklahoma moved forward with the One Day Floor. The floor was grinded smooth, cracks were filled. The One Day Floors “Pure Bred” Polyaspartic in whitenight gray
with “Tuxedo” colored chips was applied in the afternoon. Inand out in one day.

Potential buyer flow has increased within one week. There are no doubts about theintegrity of the structure. Resurfaced garage floors are a
tremendous functional and decorative asset to every property and will undoubtedly increase a homes value. In fact it is more expensive to not have a resurfaced garage floor than the expense of a new floor. Read through the pages here and you’ll know why.
